Furnished apartment (bathroom, kitchenette, living room, and bedroom) with separate entrance in a house that is divided into two separate apartments. The rent includes Wi-Fi, waste collection, normal electricity and heating usage, home insurance, Netflix, and more — I’ve likely forgotten a few things. Only rented out to one person, not couples. The apartment is actually over 100 sqm, but I listed it as 80 sqm in the ad as I excluded the large room between the entrance and the living room where your wardrobes are located (see floor plan). Excellent public transport: just a 190-meter walk to the "Stenkällan" bus stop, served by Malmö’s only express bus—number 5—which offers frequent service and late-night departures thought the city centre to the train station and “Västra hamnen”. Departures every 7th minute during the day and every 20th minute in the evenings and on weekends. It operates until 1:30 PM on weekdays and 2:30 PM on Saturdays in both directions. ABOUT THE APARTMENT: - Bedroom with Smart TV (including Netflix) – windows in both the bedroom and living room face a private section of the garden. - Living room with a home cinema setup. - Bathroom (the sauna is non-functional). - Kitchenette (two hot plates, microwave, countertop oven, and fridge with freezer compartment) + washing machine and tumble dryer. Ceiling height: 219 cm. The ceiling in your bedroom and living room has been reinforced with extra soundproofing, so less sound travels between the floors than it normally does in a house. Keypad lock (Yale). Free parking in the driveway. You also enjoy the benefits of living in a house. with a garden with a pool and apple tree (limited access; common courtesy and no guests without approval). THE AREA: The city's best public transport links offer you the same advantages as living in the city center, while allowing you to live in a quiet area on the outskirts, close to a green space (Husie Mosse). There is a large shopping center nearby (Jägersro Centrum), and if you enjoy working out, the city's best-value gym—offering group classes like spinning and yoga—is just a five-minute walk away, near Husie Mosse (2300 SEK a year or 900 SEK for 15 visits). When jogging in the green area, you will hardly encounter anyone other than a few local retirees out walking their dogs. POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL COSTS: Malmö is located in Zone 4, where energy costs are high. This is a good house. We have district heating and air-source heat pumps, but usage of a lot of hot water and leaving windows open during freezing temperatures incur extra costs. If the bill is higher than last year’s (when I also rented out), or if the supplier raises the price, you need to pay extra. We keep costs down by taking short showers (your jacuzzi bath tub is not included in the rent to make sure you save on the costs just as I who get the bills do).
