About this home

Cozy, fully furnished room in Gottsunda, Uppsala – 4,000 SEK/month (all included) Hi! I’m a researcher at Stockholm University, living in Uppsala, and I’m looking for a kind, responsible, and open-minded person to share my apartment with. **I live here with my young daughter, who stays with me every other week**, so finding someone who is comfortable sharing a home with a child, and who values a peaceful, friendly, and respectful environment, is particularly important to me. A bright, cozy, and **fully furnished 13 m² room** is available in Gottsunda, Uppsala. The room is ready to move into, with everything needed to sleep and live comfortably from day one. You won't need to bring your own furniture, just your personal belongings. The apartment is within walking distance of Gottsunda Library, ICA, Willys, the public swimming pool, and some lovely green areas, with forests and walking paths nearby. It is a modest apartment in an affordable, working-class neighbourhood, but a comfortable and pleasant place to live. **A little about me:** I’m a researcher who often works from home. I enjoy reading, exchanging ideas, and having interesting conversations, but I also appreciate silence, privacy, and a peaceful atmosphere. I would love to share the apartment with someone who enjoys occasional conversations, perhaps a coffee together, while also respecting each other's space and independence. I'm looking for someone who is clean, responsible, considerate, and friendly. More than anything, I value kindness, curiosity, open-mindedness, and a shared sense of humanity. I believe that a home should be a place where people feel welcome and respected, regardless of their background, nationality, or beliefs. Racism, discrimination, and far-right extremist attitudes have no place in the home I wish to share. I don't expect us to become best friends or spend all our time together, but I would like us to feel comfortable around each other and create a warm, respectful, and friendly atmosphere, without disturbing each other's daily lives. The room would be particularly suitable for a student, PhD student, researcher, or working professional who appreciates a calm and friendly home. **Practical information:** * **Rent:** 4,000 SEK/month * **Room:** 13 m², fully furnished and ready to move into.
