A furnished room is available from 1 August (possibly from mid-July) in a nice and green part of Uppsala. The room is fully furnished, including: Bed with two 80 cm mattresses (can easily be used as a double bed) and under-bed storage, Wardrobe, Chest of drawers, Desk, desk lamp, and chair for studying or working from home, Bedside table, Mirror. The room is part of a 75 sqm, 3-room apartment, on the 3rd floor with: Open-plan kitchen and living room, Balcony connected to the shared living space, Parquet flooring, Laundry room in a neighboring building, Secure bicycle storage. Elevator. A bus stop a minute away, with bus lines 2, 7, and 12. Conveniently located for Uppsala University students and staff, with Engelska Parken, Ångström, and Blåsenhus in about 10–15 minutes by bike. Surrounded by nature, with Stadsskogen Nature Reserve just outside the door and Hågadalen–Nåsten Nature Reserve within walking distance. Nearby amenities at Västertorg include: Coop and Hemköp grocery stores; Pharmacy; Pizzeria. The apartment is shared with me, a woman in my 40s, fluent in Swedish and English, with interests in outdoor activities and literature. As I've shared apartments with tenants before (both Swedish and international students), I'm used to creating a respectful and comfortable living environment. I am preferably looking for a Master's or PhD student, or working professional. You are non-smoker, vegetarian (at least at home, as we share the kitchen), considerate, clean and tidy, willing to help maintain shared spaces according to a simple cleaning schedule.
