Studio Apartment for Rent in Albano I’ll be heading to Tokyo soon for an exchange program (and possibly a masters thesis as well). Since I’ll be spending the upcoming semester (and potentially doing my masters thesis) in Japan, I thought it would be a good idea to rent out my student apartment. The apartment is a studio located in Albano, which is right between SU and KTH. Details: Address: Albanovägen 21 (2nd floor) (Coordinates: 59°21'16.2”N 18°03'27.4”E). It is a 30-second walk from AlbaNova (the Department of Biochemistry/Physics) and about 2–5 minutes from KTH’s main campus. It is also very close to SU and Karolinska. The area is intended exclusively for students, is very quiet, and is located right next to a beautiful botanical garden and a newly built large study area (Campus Albano). It is also very close to Vasastan and Östermalm. Size and amenities: ~22 m², studio apartment with kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator) and private bathroom with toilet and shower. There is access to a shared laundry room in the building. The building has a rooftop terrace with a nice view. In the basement, there is a storage room for bicycles and personal belongings. The building has a built-in waste management and recycling facility. Amenities: An excellent restaurant, a bike repair shop, and a newsstand are right next door. Furnishings: The apartment can be fully furnished upon request. (No extra charge.) Rent: Approximately 7,700 SEK/month + electricity and broadband Noise: The building is newly constructed with thick walls that block out virtually all noise, making it an excellent environment for studying.
